About the Contest
Over the years since 1968, customers have contacted us on how THEY use Glo Germ in areas we never thought of. Originally, Glo Germ was conceived to be able to demonstrate only handwashing, cross contamination, and surface cleaning.
Today, in addition to our core business, applications of Glo Germ are used in cancer research, DNA analysis, medical tagging, bio-terrorism and HASMAT training, avalanche rescue, forensics, tattoo industry, environmental health, and much more. In fact, over half our applications did not even exist ten years ago!
And this growth and imagination is mainly due to customer feedback and requests. We have decided it is customer payback time!
So here is the deal: Starting September 1, 2011 to December 31, 2011, we start collecting submitted ideas and projects using Glo Germ. Our staff will organize into categories including Medical, Technological, Educational, Industrial, etc. and rank as to uniqueness. We will then submit the lists and information to a committee of local USU business graduate students for their ranking. The lists, categories will be posted on this website in November and the final lists the first week of January, 2012.
Prizes will be awarded in the following manner in each category: 3rd Prize $100, 2nd Prize $250, 1st Prize $500. Then each winner of 1st Prize for each category will be considered for the Grand Prize of an additional Prize of $500!

Submit your application or projects by email: Glo Germ Company.
In the subject line write: Customer payback time.
Application needs to include a complete description of your application or project not more than two pages in length. One or two photographs would be helpful in ranking the application.
